The Old Fruit Market in Glasgow was the third venue in this year’s trio of Boutique Bar Shows.  With cocktail competitions, guest speakers such as Jared Brown & Anistatia Miller and exclusive spirit tastings: this year’s events have been inspirational on many levels.  We were very impressed by the sheer number of bartenders in attendance, and the passion shared for high quality drinks.

Our focus this year has been on La Fée Absinthe Blanche 53%abv, and the reception received at this year’s shows has been highly positive:  Everyone who has tasted it appreciated the softer, subtle and rounded quality, with floral, fennel character balancing the dry, earthy wormwood.  This makes for a highly versatile absinthe which can be used as the base spirit for a multitude of cocktails, both classic and contemporary in design.
