The NV® Bus rolled into Keele University for the 2026 Woodstoke Summer Festival, bringing together great drinks, student engagement and practical conversations around nightlife safety.
Across two fantastic evenings, students stepped aboard the iconic NV® double-decker bus to enjoy refreshing NV Mojitos, music, eye tattoos and learn more about simple measures that can help protect drinks in busy social environments.
The activation combined two brands with a shared purpose:
  • NV® Absinthe – creating memorable social experiences and introducing students to one of the world’s most historic spirits categories.
BevGARDien® ECO an eco-conscious anti-spiking drinks cover designed to support safer nights out while minimising environmental impact.

Sustainability and Student Welfare Working Together

It felt particularly appropriate to be at a university recognised as a Global Sustainability Institution of the Year, demonstrating that environmental responsibility and student welfare can work hand-in-hand.
At a time when conversations around drink spiking continue across the UK, there is growing recognition that prevention, awareness and practical solutions all have a role to play.
BevGARDien® was developed as a food-contact compliant, environmentally conscious solution designed to support:
  • Student Welfare Teams
  • Students’ Unions
  • Bar Operators
  • Event Organisers
  • Festivals and Live Events
  • Safer Nightlife Initiatives
The response from students, welfare teams and venue staff throughout the weekend was genuinely encouraging. Many conversations focused not only on what happens after incidents occur, but on how practical preventative measures can help reduce opportunities for drink tampering in the first place.

The NV® Experience

Alongside the welfare messaging, students enjoyed one of our most popular serves  the NV Mojito.
Fresh, refreshing and easy-drinking, the serve proved a perfect festival companion while introducing a new generation of consumers to the distinctive botanical character of NV® Absinthe.
The famous NV® Eye was also everywhere throughout the weekend, from branding and bus activations to eye tattoos that proved particularly popular with festival-goers.

Thank You Keele

A huge thank you to the entire Keele Students’ Union team, welfare staff, bar crews and, most importantly, the students who came aboard the NV® Bus and helped make the event such a success.
Events like Woodstoke demonstrate the value of combining hospitality, education and welfare awareness in a positive and engaging environment.

What’s Next?
