Our highlights of 2014 include tours of Australia and the middle-east, delicious new cocktail creations from top bartenders, a host of respected awards and Marie-Claude Delahaye’s new Absinthe Museum blog.  We kick things off with the awards…

Absinthiades 2014

La Fé Parisienne & Blanche absinthes with Medals

Having not entered the Absinthiades for a few years, we were so happy to receive silver awards for each of our Absinthe Supérieure offerings – La Fée Parisienne & La Fée Blanche.

Historically our X•S range would steal the show, with gold and silver medals awarded in 2007, 2008 and 2009, so to win such accolades with our premium range is a real sign of their quality. They were the highest awarded of any international brand at this year’s event.

IWSC 2014

More medals for our all natural beauties! The IWSC has awarded both La Fée Parisienne and La Fée Blanche, with Blanche the only clear absinthe to take a medal. Get yourself a bottle from one of these retailers.

San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2014

La Fée Parisaienne & Blanche with medals 2014

La Fée has also enjoyed success this year at the prestigious San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Both La Fée Parisienne and La Fée Blanche were awarded silver medals, as well as gold medal package design awards.

Cut out and keep cocktail guide

We met the green fairy in this week’s Cocktail Hour, as we experiment with a bottle of La Fée Absinthe Parisienne. A spirit loved by writers, poets and artists, it didn’t take us long to be inspired with cocktail ideas.

Some Place Liverpool

An amazing day was had by all at the La Fée / Some Place cocktail competition in early November. With a Van Gogh-inspired cocktail, including paper maché ear…and one of the contestant’s mothers reciting an Absinthe poem as their garnish, it really was an unforgettable day! Thanks for all your support Some Place, and we can’t wait to pop in for some more Absinthe cocktails in the New Year!
